Introduction

Enjoy a 3-day safari at Baobab Ridge Private Lodge, a small and exclusive retreat in the Klaserie Private Game Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. With only seven free-standing suites and space for just 16 guests, the lodge promises a quiet and personalized experience.

The main lodge features a welcoming lounge and bar, satellite TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, guest bathrooms, and a spacious dining area. Outside, relax around the open-air boma or take a dip in the swimming pool, which overlooks the bush and a nearby waterhole.

Baobab Ridge is wheelchair-accessible and fully fenced for safety, keeping larger wildlife at a respectful distance while still offering an immersive safari setting.

Day 1

Klaserie Nature Reserve

You will be collected from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at 07:00am and travel eastwards via the N4 motorway through the Highveld of Gauteng and Mpumalanga, to the Klaserie Private Game Reserve in Limpopo.

The drive may take about six to seven hours, and you will stop along the way for refreshments. You should reach the lodge around mid-day and have time to freshen up and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for your first afternoon game drive.

After watching the sun set you will return to the lodge where dinner will be ready.

You will be transferred from the airport in Johannesburg Airport.

Baobab Ridge

Lodge Inside Klaserie Nature Reserve

Baobab Ridge Private Lodge is a small and intimate private lodge with only seven private free-standing suites that sleep a maximum of 16 guests. The main lodge features a bar and lounge area, satellite television, free Wi-Fi, outdoor terraces, guest bathrooms and a large dining room while outside is an open-air boma area with a fireplace and a swimming pool that overlooks the surrounding bush and a small waterhole.

Meal Plan Lunch & Dinner

Day 2

Klaserie Nature Reserve

Wake up early in time to enjoy a hot beverage and rusks before departing on the morning game drive to catch the sun rising and spot some nocturnal animals still out hunting.

You will return to the lodge for a late breakfast and can spend the rest of the day lazing around.

Your afternoon game drive will depart at about 16:00 and return after sunset just in time for dinner under the African skies.

Activities Day 2

05:30am / 06:30am depending on the Season

Your early morning game drive in Klaserie Nature Reserve will quickly become the favorite part of your safari day, with animals out and active.
