Day 1

Day 1 Kapama Game Reserve

Guests are collected from OR Tambo International Airport bus terminal in a minivan at 07:00am.

The route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you from the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region.

Arrive at Kapama Private Game Reserve mid-day, in time for a light lunch. Freshen up and relax before it’s time to depart on a late-afternoon game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve.

Overnight at Kapama Buffalo Camp. Guests dine in the lodge restaurant or at the outdoor boma.

Accommodation – Day 1

Kapama Buffalo Camp

Located in Kapama Private Game Reserve, guests have access to 13 000 hectares of pristine bushveld that falls within the Greater Kruger National Park. The modern eco-camp exudes by-gone safari luxury, with each ensuite deluxe safari tent is air-conditioned and fully-equipped for comfort and convenience.

Day 2

Day 2 Morning and Afternoon Safari Drives

Wake up early (5h30-6h00) for hot beverages and rusks before departing for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve. Return to your lodge for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool or treating yourself to a spa session. Depart late afternoon after High Tea for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve, with a pitstop for sundowners in the bush.

Overnight at Kapama Buffalo Camp. Guests dine in the lodge restaurant or at the outdoor boma.

Kapama Buffalo Camp is the latest in Afro-chic glamping with luxurious tented accommodation situated on a lush riverbank lined with tall indigenous trees.

Day 3

Day 3 Morning and Afternoon Safari Drives

Enjoy a warm beverage before departing the lodge on an early morning safari drive. Your guide and tracker will spend time following up on spoor (animal foot prints) from the previous night, locating the animal movements and hoping to find members of the big 5. Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the heat of the day in your accommodation. (Optional bush walk after breakfast).

You will meet your guide in the late afternoon after enjoying lunch before departing on an afternoon safari drive that returns back to the lodge after dark less has fallen, just in time for dinner

Perched on a wooden deck with stilts, the tented accommodation is built using natural stone and wood with modern décor accents of burnt red and gold. Luxury features include a Nespresso machine and mini-bar, and heated under-blankets for chilly evenings

Another full day in the African bush, sees you enjoying a guided morning safari drive followed by breakfast relaxation time, lunch and then an eventful afternoon safari drive. Return to the lodge for a home cooked meal.
