Day 1

Day 1 Johannesburg to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve

You will be collected from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at 07:00am in a minivan, to travel east via the N4 motorway through the Highveld of Gauteng and Mpumalanga, down the escarpment and into the scenic Lowveld to the reserve inside the Greater Kruger National Park.

The drive will take about six hours, during which you will stop for refreshments. After reaching the lodge around mid-day, you will have the opportunity to freshen up and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Back at the lodge a delicious starlit dinner will await you, weather permitting.

Nkorho Bush Lodge accommodates a maximum of sixteen guests in eight stylish yet homely en-suite thatched chalets. The accommodations offer a relaxed atmosphere in luxurious surroundings, where guests will experience sheer contentment and tranquillity.

Your wake-up call will come early for time to enjoy a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your early morning game drive to still catch some nocturnal animals out hunting, and witness the sun rising over the bushveld.

On return to the lodge you can enjoy a late breakfast and spend the rest of the day lazing around the pool.

Get your camera and a jacket ready for the afternoon game drive, which will depart around 16:00, to return after sunset and just in time for dinner under African skies.

Go on an early morning game drive in Sabi Sand Game Reserve, and you’ll soon discover why it’s the favorite activity of the day for many safari-goers.

Guests can enjoy hearty breakfasts under a thatched deck overlooking an open plain while dinners are enjoyed around an open fire in a typical leadwood boma. Afternoons can be spent cooling off in a unique rock pool before going on a game drive as the day closes. A laundry service is also available on request.

Day 4

Day 4 Morning Safari Drive and Return to Johannesburg

Rise early, enjoying a hot beverage and rusk, you depart on your last morning game drive. After witnessing the sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast before departing to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your drop-off point at approximately 17:00.

Our vehicles

The Kruger Safari Co. makes use of a number of different vehicles, depending on the safari package reserved.

Comfortable, Air-conditioned Toyota Quantum minivan seating up to 13 persons.
We use our fleet of Toyota Quantum's for group shared transfers to the National park from Johannesburg.

As per government regulations, we make use of Open sided safari vehicles for all safari packages that stay or visit the Kruger National park.
