This 4-day fly-in safari from Johannesburg takes you to Nkorho Bush Lodge, home to just sixteen guests in eight cozy en-suite thatched chalets in the heart of the Sabi Sands Private Game reserve.

Enjoy peaceful luxury with breakfasts overlooking the open plains, afternoons relaxing by the rock pool, and evenings around a crackling leadwood boma fire. Sunset game drives complete the experience, with laundry available on request.

Day 1

Nkorho Game Reserve

We depart Johannesburg OR Tambo at midday on a 50-minute flight to Hoedspruit Airport, flying over the Highveld, down the escarpment, and through the scenic Lowveld region of Mpumalanga Province.

Upon arrival at Hoedspruit, your safari guide meets you for the transfer into the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
We check in at Nkorho Bush Lodge, a beautifully secluded retreat in the heart of this wildlife-rich reserve.

The lodge features gorgeous rooms with stunning designer decor, a restaurant, swimming pool, spa center, and comfortable lounge areas.

After a light lunch, you have time to freshen up and relax before departing on a late-afternoon game drive through the reserve on an open safari vehicle. The wildlife of Sabi Sand is never far away, and we might encounter lions, leopards, and other remarkable animals.

Back at the lodge, a delicious dinner under the stars awaits you, your overnight stay includes lunch and dinner.

It's time for a break, so sit back and enjoy the good food as we serve you lunch.

Animals are out and about, the light is often perfect, and temperatures are cooler when you join us on our evening game drive in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve.

This evening we'll be serving you a dinner to remember.

Nkorho Bush Lodge sits in a secluded part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, placing guests close to some of Africa's best wildlife viewing. The lodge features well-appointed rooms with thoughtful design and comfortable furnishings. Between game drives, guests can unwind at the swimming pool, enjoy meals at the restaurant, or relax in the spa. The property's location deep in the reserve means wildlife is never far away.

Day 2 & 3

Nkorho Game Reserve

We'll wake you early for coffee and rusks before your morning game drive in Sabi Sand Game Reserve, a prime time for wildlife viewing. You might encounter a variety of animals in the soft morning light. The reserve is renowned for its exceptional sightings, and you might also come across several species moving freely across this unfenced wilderness.

After your drive, enjoy a late breakfast at Nkorho Bush Lodge before relaxing by the pool or visiting the spa center. The lodge's beautiful rooms and thoughtful design create the perfect retreat between safari activities.

Later, we'll head out for an evening game drive when temperatures cool and the golden light returns, another excellent time to see wildlife. We'll return just in time for dinner under the African sky.
