Day 1

Day 1 Johannesburg to the Greenfire Game Lodge

Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal by 07:00am, and driven to the Greater Kruger in a luxury tour vehicle. It’s a 5-6 hour drive, with a refreshment stop along the way.

Arrive mid-day, have a light lunch and relax around camp before it’s time to depart for a late-afternoon game drive in Balule Private Game Reserve.

Return to camp as the sun is setting and enjoy a fun communal dinner around the firepit on warm evenings.

Overnight in a luxury suite at Greenfire Game Lodge.

07:00am Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal

Collection from OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal with Safari Link SA, departing at 07:00am in a shared minivan transfer to the National park.
Private transfer can be arranged at an extra cost.
Return local flights can be arranged on request.

Afternoon

Arrival, Check in Lunch, at the Greenfire Game Lodge.

15:30pm / 16:30pm depending on season

Embark on your first Guided 3 Hour Afternoon / Sunset Open Vehicle Safari Drive, in the Balule Nature Reserve.

Night

Tonight a home cooked meal is served at the Greenfire lodge, a dinner to remember.

Greenfire Game Lodge

Every effort has been made to provide an exclusive safari experience, where the sleek facilities of a modern lodge blend harmoniously with the stunning natural surroundings. The suites are nestled within a riverine forest and strategically positioned on the escarpment to ensure complete privacy. With floor-to-ceiling glass-fronted interiors that open onto private decks, guests can enjoy panoramic views of the Balule bushveld.
Children aged 12 and older are welcome at Greenfire Game Lodge.

Day 2 & 3 Morning and Afternoon Big 5 Safari Drives

Wake up early for hot beverages and then depart for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in Balule Private Game Reserve. Return for a hearty breakfast; relax around camp. Depart late afternoon for a sunset game drive.
